Safe Sandal Season

Cosmetologists and manicurists are licensed and regulated by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology to perform manicures and pedicures. The Board works hard to ensure that our licensees follow State laws and established infection control standards. In 2013, the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology (BBC) and the Department of Consumer Affairs launched a special campaign designed to educate consumers and licensee on safe nail salon practices.
